Last updated: August 10, 2026 These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Sean O'Donnell ("we," "us," or "our") governing your use of the DoomStroll mobile application (the "App"). By downloading or using DoomStroll, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
DoomStroll lets you choose apps to shield and requires you to complete a walk (measured by your device's motion sensors) to unlock additional screen time. DoomStroll uses Apple's Screen Time (Family Controls), motion, and notification features to do this. DoomStroll is a personal wellness and productivity tool.
DoomStroll is not a medical, health, or safety device and does not provide medical advice. Step and walk measurements are estimates and may be inaccurate. Always be aware of your surroundings when walking. Do not use the App while driving or in any situation where distraction could be dangerous. You are solely responsible for your safety.
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to use DoomStroll. If you are under the age of majority, you may use DoomStroll only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
DoomStroll offers auto-renewing subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store. The following apply to all subscriptions:
All purchases are processed by Apple and are subject to Apple's terms. Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with Apple's policies; we generally cannot issue refunds directly.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use DoomStroll for your own personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms and Apple's App Store Terms of Service.
You agree not to: (a) reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App except as permitted by law; (b) use the App for any unlawful purpose; (c) interfere with or disrupt the App; or (d) circumvent, disable, or defeat the App's screen-time features other than through the App's intended controls.
You control which apps you block, your daily allowances, and your walk goals. You are responsible for your configuration. Do not rely on DoomStroll to block apps in situations where blocking (or a failure to block) could cause harm.
DoomStroll, including its design, text, graphics, and logos, is owned by Sean O'Donnell and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding.
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that step/walk tracking or app blocking will always function correctly.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE APP WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE APP IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM.
We may modify or discontinue the App or these Terms at any time. Material changes to these Terms will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
